When they came they told her that it wasn't a simple job and lock had to be drilled etc. She told them she wanted the cheapest job possible as she lives alone on a budget. In the end she rang me in tears saying the man was demanding £742 + VAT = £890.40. When I saw the invoice it was broken down as 1) emergency locksmith to open door by drill £1892) New front security system with 5 keys £3653) Labour to fit £994) Emergency weekend visit fee £89It took longer to pay him than the work done!! Absolute rip off. I shall be reporting to Trading Standards and Action Fraud.
