Recently, an individual uploaded the entire “Ear Blessers” album to Genius without authorization, falsely claiming it as their own work.Genius did not verify the identity or rights of this user before publishing the album, which resulted in our original recordings being distributed without consent. This oversight allowed a third party to misrepresent copyrighted material and mislead listeners.I hope Genius strengthens its verification and content review process to prevent unauthorized uploads in the future.
