I had an opportunity to give feedback about the sites for get.it jobs. My conversation with the VP of the company was so insightful and I was able to suggest some changes that I hope are useful to my fellow spa industry owners and recruiters. I knew I had been a user of get esthetician jobs for a few years but after checking my mailbox I created my first job post in 2018. As I scrolled thru the emails, I also realized that over the past 8 years I had hired 5 applicants from the 6 postings I had created. My most recent a few weeks ago. And all I ever spent over those years was $100! TOTAL. I think about the other ways I found staff and they were very short lived, kinda crazy people. I spent over $500 on Indeed and Ziprecruiter each in a 30 day period. The value that this job site brings to my business is extremely valuable. As a small business owner I depend on legit applicants and I knew, but didnt think about, how many of my long term employees were hired for basically no cost thru get.it postings. My feedback to Eric the EVP was to mail out some swag! Id gladly promote a site that saves me time, money, regrets on bad hires and a company that cares enough to hear what I have to say. I trust get.it to help me when I need to find legit candidates to hire! P.S. I'd rock a get.esthetican.jobs baseball cap or hoodie in bright orange for summer or the purple logo color!
