As I found out, this whole "getgoing" entity is not a finance company. I originally applied through an ad for First Nation Financing, simply because they boasted about helping people with poor credit. After I hit the apply button, filled it out, it sent me to GetGoing, which they sent me an auto-reply, saying my application was received. THEN I get a call from the finance department at a car dealership, asking me the same questions that he would if i walked into that dealership. He even said he would have to get approval from "their bank".Upon further googling, it was quite clear, neither First Nation Financing or GetGoing finances customers, nor do they sell vehicles. If you look on getgoing website, look at their "dealers" page.(you have to bring other menu up), it shows their practice of selling leads to dealers of customers looking for car financing. Then the finance department of that dealership they gave the lead to, CALLS YOU.This whole "GetGoing" thing is used by many different online entities across Canada. I clicked on several and got that same page. The one that shows Apply for a van, apply for Truck, apply for a car, etc.My whole point of this, is people get mislead into believing they are applying directly to a finance company (like FirstNationFinance). People are posting reviews of how much GetGoing helped them, and delivered a car to them, with no mention of the finance that the dealer went through to get them a car.GetGoing is NOT a finance company or a car dealer. They simply pass off your info to a car dealer, then get compensated, in one form or another.If the FIRST dealer can't help you, GetGoing will continue sending your info to other dealers to see if thir financing can help you.But don't get your hopes up, if you have bad credit. You're not guaranteed pre-approval from GetGoing. The dealer has to approve you and they are going to charge you a lot more, so if you don't have a great income .....forget it.My credit is not good, simply because I defaulted on a few bills. I did not get a car after I applied. Good Luck to all of you.
