Lying, greedy, crooked business practices

I originally ordered a set of toothpaste tubes from this company in late June of 2025. Part of the order was a promise of 30% cash back. (Shame on me for paying for something online that did not have a Paypal option, first of all- because it is difficult to get $ back from social media swindlers like this otherwise.) I did not see the cash back happening, so I reached out to them on July 4th. Their e-mail response said I should see an email and a credit within 30 days. I did not. What I DID see was another charge on September 19th for more tubes of toothpaste. I did not authorize this charge. Wondering if I had mistakenly started a subscription, I went to their website. . .and I had NOT. In fact, I screenshotted their actual website where it says "you have no subscriptions associated with this email address". I sent them the proof with an inquiry about the charge. I reached out to them through social media. I finally received an email back where they tried to tell me that my order (the second one- which I had not initiated or authorized) had been manually refunded by 30% . Umm, no, not good enough. I never placed that order. That 30% cash back should have happened for the PREVIOUS order. And no one responded through social media until I made a few story posts where I tagged them and called them out. I then suddenly had someone respond, saying they wanted to help, and asking for the order number. Again, they then went thru the process of telling me about the 30% cash back. Nope, that should have happened earlier, and I never placed a second order. I called them out publicly again. Voila! I finally had a refund pending on my credit card! Or did I. . .Because after it was pending for a few days, it completely disappeared. No refund after all. I am so over these companies just deciding they can take people's money and displaying no culpability.
