Went to an event in Melbourne, Aus. Learnt once I arrived that they had no one there hosting/running the event and it was only the staff at the venue. Found the event quite lacklusture personally as they did not have anyone there to break the ice or do anything, the majority of people were left to their own devices. Ratio of attendants was also not balanced at all (despite being advertised as such) and the majority of attendents seemed standoffish.
