This is the second Great Game we have done; the first one we did in Bristol and had a few issues. However, it was still a really enjoyable day and experience, with a lovely pub at the end. This time we did the Great Game Portsmouth, were we seemed to have lots more issues and a really disappointing 'treasure' at the end. There were numerous typos through the clues and in the puzzles at the end. The first page of the puzzles were also exactly the same as the Bristol route, which felt lazy- I thought all routes would be different. Some of the land markers were very difficult to find and we had to cheat a little bit; we wondered if some of the points of note had moved. The clues/ riddles were a bit hit and miss also. TLastly the pub at the end had changed hands so it took some explaining of why we were there, and how to use the code. The pub was much more of a student/ drink heavy type place, rather than somewhere you'd expect for food and drinks after the treasure hunt. Overall it was a disappointing experience and we wouldn't do another Great Game.
