The firm provided incorrect legal counsel that nearly cost my child the opportunity to obtain Spanish citizenship. Despite the mistake, they refused to take responsibility or offer any refund for the more than $5,000 I spent on that portion of the process. Their stance was essentially that the error was not theirs to own.What made this even more frustrating is that the correct path forward was something I ultimately found through a Facebook group of others navigating the same citizenship process—people who actually cared about helping one another succeed. A single thoughtful question from Giambrone could have revealed this same path, but my child was just one of many clients, and by then the firm already had our payment.For anyone seeking legal counsel for Spanish citizenship, my recommendation is to look elsewhere. While Giambrone can be responsive and helpful with straightforward cases, it is entirely possible to receive incorrect legal guidance—and in my experience, they do not take ownership when their mistakes put clients at risk.
