I did not get connected to a volunteer until 05:11 this morning. I appreciate that the helpline can get busy due to high demand, but I was unhappy about the long wait. The volunteer apologised late for the wait after I expressed multiple times that I was upset about not receiving an apology at the start of the chat. She did express that she misunderstood what I communicated, so I know it was not intentional, but I was disappointed that I had to ask for an apology.
