Learning about Thai culture, learning, feeding, and bathing the elephants in an elephant sanctuary, playing soccer with some of the local children, being blessed by a monk, exploring temples, hiking and taking in the views, taking a cooking class and eating authentic Thai cuisine, witnessing traditional Thai dances, getting a Thai massage, making such amazing friends with my fellow give volunteers and Tailand locals, and sooo much more! I learned so much, made fantastic new friends, went in open-minded and learned how to get comfortable in the uncomfortable and absolutely loved it!! There’s not enough words of gratitude and appreciation to express such an amazing trip volunteering and experiencing the Thailand culture!!
