Glenigan advertises itself as a platform that helps you to generate leads. In my experience it completely fails to do that. 9/10, there are no direct emails to key decision makers, meaning that all you have is the general @info email. This is the kind of information that someone could get for free from the internet. Not only this, but when I raised this issue with them, the quality of the customer service went down the drain.I've noticed that this review has been quite helpful for users, so I wanted to expand on it. I raised this issue with Glenigan a few times before cancelling my subscription with them and every time the response was something along the lines of "look, there are thousands of projects that match your criteria, there are loads of opportunities". This kind of response sounds good at first, when you're considering using the product, but what it fails to appreciate is that small business owners - who I think would look at something like Glenigan as a business lifeline - do not have time to email hundreds and hundreds of people with a meaningful proposal. Small business owners wear multiple hats just to make the business make sense. The whole reason why you would use Glenigan is so that you could get accurate and precise information that makes each email a meaningful email. Glenigan clearly have no understanding or respect for the time scarcity of a small business owner. Again, when I raised this issue, the response was "you can use AI to draft your emails". I think we all know that nothing looks worse than an AI-generated email. Unfortunately, even their claim to there being "thousands of projects" is often misleading. It is true that if you plug in your criteria that many projects will show up. But for whatever reason, as soon as you start looking at the individual projects, a lot of the times you would realise that they are actually not suitable for you. All in all, aside from the fact that I think that Glenigan's database is incomplete and their information is, sometimes, inaccurate. I also found their team to be completely unaware of the challenges faced by their clients, and worse, they were completely unable to provide any solutions. They have no recourse to demand that projects contain direct contact details to decision-makers, which ultimately, makes for a poorer customer experience. UPDATE: Since cancelling my subscription because of the poor service that Glenigan have delivered, Glenigan have started legal proceedings against me. Again, there has been no attempt from their team to prevent this by reaching-out and trying to improve my customer experience. All they did was send me emails threatening legal action: as if the only options are either to blindly accept their poor service or to enter into a legal battle with them.
