Was very pleased with the ui, the value for money, and from what I have read in the 1 star reviews, the customer service appears to be diligent.
DPD however, seems to be the weak link.
For me, DPD missed my house twice, and when I rang up their customer service, it was outsourced. Said customer service told me that they had only my postcode and general area, and blamed gls.
After getting DPD to deliver to a pickup point, I got my package which was significantly roughed up. This was on the 16th, so 3 days later than the promised delivery (13th Feb).
I took photos of everything battered, and of two pencils that had broken heads.
I would mention, that having to drive to pickup my package defeats the point of free delivery.
Also, that the delivery note from gls, and the DPD box label, had my address in full and correct.
So was the DPD customer service talking nonsense? Or was it DPD failing to communicate with the driver's they sent? Or was it DPD's driver's not reading the package label?
Irrespective, the fault and the reason I'm not leaving a 5 star review, lies with DPD.
