My encounter with the dealership was one of the most unethical and dishonest interactions I've ever experienced. They pressured me into signing an agreement before I even knew if I was actually getting the vehicle, targeting individuals who come in alone or may not speak the primary language fluently. In my case, I was made to sign a nonrefundable deposit agreement prior to any approvals, insurance quotes, or finalizations. When I discovered that the insurance rate was excessively high and chose not to proceed with the purchase, I politely requested my deposit back within 24 hours. They refused. Their reasoning was that I should go through with the purchase simply because I signed the deposit form, despite that form being signed under misleading circumstances and lacking complete information. This is predatory sales tactics. I have previously put deposits on vehicles, and reputable dealerships always refund them if you change your mind, especially when no orders or customizations have been made. Holding someone's money to coerce a sale is a reprehensible business practice that should honestly be illegal. The finance manager was shockingly rude. Whenever I attempted to speak, he interrupted, dismissed my points, and claimed that merely stating I would visit the dealership was a threat. He manipulated my words and refused to recognize how unethical the situation was. I will be submitting a formal complaint with the appropriate authorities. I strongly advise against visiting this dealership. Spare yourself the stress and take your business to a dealership that operates with honesty, ethics, and genuine respect for its customers instead of employing manipulative tactics.
