Customer Service has gone DOWNHILL

Update: Customer Service reached out to me this morning and apologized for the issue (AI canceling order and inability to use discount on next order) and for the slow response by a human to resolve. They credited points to my account to make up for the invalid discount code. I placed my order and my confidence has been restored. I placed an order for 2 pairs of shoes, then realized i had accidentally ordered slides as well. The website offers a discount/deal for a package- typical upsell marketing. It's my fault for not noticing before check out, so I immediately inquired if I could drop the slides since the order had JUST been place. The response was the order can't be changed once it was placed, and the AI canceled my entire order. Normally that would be fine, if I can go back to the website and place a new order. However when I did that, and tried to enter my "birthday" discount code for $20 off and it was rejected. So i replied to the email again, and the AI got right back to me, stating the issue will be escalated to a human. I asked for a new code and have had ZERO response. I am so disappointed. I had been a fan of the product and have ordered shoes for myself (several times over the years) and for my son who is also in healthcare. Look, 20 bucks isn't a big deal, it's a matter of principal for me know...and the lack of customer service and acknowledgement of the issue. So I guess I won't be spending 300+ on new shoes with Clove this week.
