File complaints with the IC3 ASAPI was looking to purchase a 20 + year old Fastlane Remote Control Lincoln Navigator truck for Parts Only. After searching the internet, I found the RC truck for $70 and I purchased it from a guy on the GoEasyMart.com website. After the next day or so, I received an email from an .Asia email asking me to complete my purchase to receive a 20% discount for the same truck that I had already purchased and I thought that was strange! It was also strange that when I clicked on the truck within the email, the GoEasyMart.com website page had been deleted too. I checked my Google History only to discover that the GoEasyMart.com website has changed to an .surf website and that website doesn’t exist either. I would have never placed an order with an .surf website. I figured that I had been scammed, and I called my bank but the $70 was already taken without any routing information and only a phone number 402-935-7733 which is a Paypal phone number (they are slick)! I then went onto the PayPal website to file a fraud report, and they returned my $70 the same day which was nice, but I’m still pursuing having the fraudulent websites removed off the Internet and hopefully help get the thieves arrested too.
