I signed up to GoodNovel as a writer and ended up signing a contract. Worst decision of my life. Offered 50/50 split of all profit, but what I didn't realise is that they added that they could charge anything they like to my half, which ended up leaving me with roughly 1%. Never saw any of the money my book earned, even with thousands of views.They do not treat their writers well and expect them to churn out content for peanuts and be grateful for it. All the while, if you're one of the truly unlucky, they own all your work, and you can't do anything about it.
