We had an annoying experience at Gordon Ramsay Plane Food yesterday. The restaurant charged a cover charge of £1.50 per person, which is not stated anywhere ('company policy') and a service charge of 15%.One of my traveling companions ordered a small glass of wine and a small salad and was served a large glass and a large salad. It became quite a discussion to adjust the bill. In our presence, another traveler complained about this kind of practice. It appears to be a deliberate way for the staff to scam people, speculating that customers are in a hurry to catch their plane. The food was good by the way.
