Middle of the road.. I went with Gorilla after researching online and talking to different accountants. They were a higher price, but the all inclusive package and reviews seemed really good. Onboarding was smooth, but 2 months later I’m having to resend documents I sent at the start and remind my accountant what we’ve discussed and try to move things along. I’m less than a year into running a company, but their accountants seem stretch and only able to do the basics. After my accountant initially said he’d speak to HMRC on my behalf (as he was setup on my account & had access to all my historic information and payments) to resolve an over payment, he’s now said to me (6 weeks later) that I need to do it myself. He’s a nice guy and seems to want to be helpful, I just get the feeling they are stretch and not able to deliver a full service that a client is paying for.
