My experience with the service was completely unacceptable. Despite purchasing the highest insurance plan with zero excess and submitting all necessary damage reports while staying in constant contact with the support team, I was still hit with a charge of over €1,000 for damages caused by another driver. This charge came while my case was still under review, and I was being asked to file a police report, all while trying to catch a flight home. The company attempted to withdraw the payment prematurely, ignoring the insurance I had paid for. The handling of the situation by customer service, especially by the representative involved, was unprofessional and added stress during a challenging time. Paying for premium insurance clearly does not shield you from aggressive charges. After years of using this service, I can no longer trust them. Renters should be very cautious, even with full insurance.
