I bought this to drill some (10) 3" holes in 3/4" plywood. This is a powerful drill than can break your arm or wrist if not used carefully. The enormous torque at low and very controllable rpm is a huge blessing. Also used to remove/install about 300 large bolts that secure our storm shutters (we live in Palm Beach Gardens FL) for the last hurricane. Proved invaluable. Just an excellent drill for WOODWORKING.Cons: Does NOT have the rpm's to drill steel. For some reason the chuck is more prone to moisture/tarnish (sort of on the edge of rust but not quite) than my 3/8" Makita or 1/4" Craftsman. It's not super heavy - i would recommend this drill! (Very large chuck key - easy on fingers - to easily secure bits)
