Many memorable experiences were due to the quality of the tour guides. They exhibited in depth knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, Greek history. The quality of the guides surpassed many other tours we have taken while visiting other countries. Taking excursions to various parts of Greece provided an opportunity to see some of the most breathtaking scenery. I especially enjoyed the day trip to Delphi and travelling throughout Crete. In fact, Crete was a delightful surprise for me, the mountains, valleys, shorelines and plateaus were majestic.I was very impressed with the friendliness of all of the people with whom we interacted. The drivers and hotel staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly.
