I've done my own US taxes until now, first manually, then using a tax software package. Given the complexity of the tax code I've always been nervous about whether I've put the correct information in the right boxes.Having left paid employment near the end of 2024 and moving into retirement, I was keen to make sure my taxes were done right. I was naturally nervous about handing over sensitive financial information so did some research. He answered a range of questions and was able to guide me to the information I needed to provide. I felt he was careful, diligent and patient.The outcome is that I believe he has prepared an accurate and truthful return, keeping my individual circumstances in mind. That is a great comfort.
