I dropped off my car for a service and was direct to the office on the right. The lady at the desk directed me to the office to the left where I booked in and dropped off my keys. It took quite some time to find the keys to the courtesy car; this was no problem however after a while my four year old who was with me asked if he could use the bathroom. I asked the lady in the office (middle aged, blondish) if there was a bathroom he could use; she said ‘No’ and turned to continue working. I stood for a moment in some shock. I must have counted at least a couple of dozen people working there, I can’t imagine they’re required to wander over to Tesco when they need to use a bathroom. Having no other option I could think of, I took my boy outside where he had to urinate on the floor next to my car. The second option would have been to let him wet himself on the chair he was sitting on. The service itself was completed fine as far as I could tell, however when I was called to be told the car was ready I was asked to wait about an hour before picking it up as the car was being washed? This sounded odd but I complied. When I arrived the chap handed me my keys. I asked if there were any issues found with the service but he didn’t know and to go check (not sure if it’s related but it seems they were having internet that day) and when I got to my car it hadn’t been washed… none of this is really a problem. The only issue I had is the lady’s refusal to allow my boy to use their bathroom; it’s not as if there are any other options in the immediate vicinity. It’s lucky he just needed a pee…
