No credibility left. I hope it gets bought by a good team.

ORIGINAL: 4 ⭐️January 2025Ever since John Cornetta stepped in, things have finally been moving in the right direction. In just over a month, he’s resolved issues that Lifetime members had been complaining about for years—issues that past management not only ignored but punished people for bringing up. I was one of them. There’s still a long road ahead to fully deliver on the original vision Groove sold us on, but for the first time in years, I feel hopeful. This new direction—built on integrity, transparency, and actual action—is what we’ve needed all along.I’d love to see more of John’s no-hype, straight-shooting updates. Less pitch, more progress. Keep going.=======UPDATE: 1⭐️ (reduced)May 1st 2025After a health scare John has stepped back from the project, and, as the man likes to emphasize his name in his posts, “he, ——— Mike Filsaime ———" is back at the helm.”All comments that were slightly negative or questioning have been censored on the post, and commenting have been turned off.I also just found myself as a paid customer kicked out of the Official Groove Group without any warning or message on which rule I would have broken.(He had kicked me out a year earlier too simply because I had stated in a 3RD PARTY FB GROUP that it would be good if Groove.ai be offered for free to Platinum members to make up for the lost money, time, and opportunity we suffered. I was kicked out from the OFFICIAL Groove FB Group as a result. (Note: Nearly all top affiliates had their Groove Support FB Groups −that they had built up over many years to promote and support their referrals− removed by FB because Mike’s team had filed copyright infringement!!! Skimming your affiliates and brand ambassadors is never a good idea!))In 2024 over over several emails I have asked which official Groove group rule I had broken as to why I was kicked out. They NEVER could give me an honest answer because I HADN’T BROKEN ANY.I was asked by Matt Serralta to “Please just come back in the group and look forward instead.” In other words: Don’t ask questions, don't have an opinion, just buy whatever we shill via our email newsletter each day and praise our little Napoleon on his high horse.I only rejoined the group after friends and affiliates told me that John had taken over and finally a welcome change was happening. So, now a few months later, and with Mike being in charge for a day, the only two things I can think of that tickled Mike's urge to ban me today are…(1) because others and I stated that Mike was breaking federal SPAM laws by adding all Groove customers to his new personal email list and sending us spam about his (Groove-competing) offers, even though WE NEVER OPTED IN TO HIS LIST. [FACT] What's the fine for that in the US?or…(2) because I stated that "acquisition" would likely be the best option with a new management team. [MY HONEST OPINION].In the post, HE HIMSELF had once more mentioned possible “partnerships” or “acquisition”! His whole idea has always been to sell off Groove for a boatload of money, so I don’t know what was wrong about my opinion. It's a fact that the ONLY person in management who has NEVER LIED to my face, nor behind my back is John Cornetta.I hope he makes a quick and full recovery, and gets to do things that give him joy in life instead of having to clean up others’ mess.Mike and his team of yes-men/yes-women over the years have lied to and about me time and time again, simply because they can’t stand any criticism, any requests for transparency, any asking of responsibility, or anyone coming up with an idea that is better than them, but that would actually work for US, the paying customers! It’s all about taking credit, being the smartest person in the room, the head honcho, and being back “with majority ownership”.Reality check: A company can only be run well by people who are HUMBLE, have INTEGRITY, and who LISTEN to their customers. It should not be your personal slush fund to build your hobby projects on.Only an external manager or a complete buyout with FULL management replacement will save this once great project.I hope it will happen for all the backers who were sold a pipe dream and that 6 years later is still not even 20% complete and full of bugs.I’m out. I’ve been kicked out (a 2nd time) by Mike, I’ve been called names by him on Skype [you know I have the receipts, as well as of your other unprofessional behavior].But you’re lucky. I have no intention to waste any more time on you or this project. You’re not worthy of my time.Simply, Mike, I don’t believe you; I don’t trust you; and, I would not want to let my business depend on YOU. I’m out.I hope Groove ends up at a good company and a great team so that the people I’ve recommended it to will finally have a product they can at least use and will no longer feel buyers remorse.GodspeedChris Fox
