I had a trauma to my hip which wasn't getting better with 19 months of conservative treatment. I underwent surgery with Mr Webb for a ligamentum teres debridement, ganglion removal, labral repair and plication of the hip 8 months ago. Prior to the surgery, he was the only doctor who accurately diagnosed that I had torn my ligamentum teres.The surgery combined with Physio has allowed me to now sit and walk mostly pain free. I have returned to spin classes, barre and reformer pilates, which I had not been able to do for over 2 years. Whilst I am not back to my original physically demanding job, running, boxing and badminton yet, I am continuing to see the progress and these are not out of the question. My quality of life and function is better than it was pre-operatively. Mr Webb is professional, will keep you well informed and help you set realistic expectations. I felt confident and well supported throughout my post-op journey. I highly recommend Mr Webb if you are looking for a hip arthroscopy following a trauma.
