My recent experience with Group 1 Landrover chester has been appalling. My car was held for over 130 days.The primary issue was the team’s inability to correctly diagnose the fault. Despite being a specialist workshop, they repeatedly provided incorrect diagnoses, leading to an approach of 'throwing parts' at the problem.I had the reasonable expectation that a specialist would correctly identify the problem from the outset. Instead, I faced continuous requests for additional diagnostic hours without any satisfactory progress.The situation resulted in me having to collect the vehicle, which was left in bits and disassembled. To add insult to injury, I was still charged for the 'privilege' of this non service. This demonstrates a clear lack of professional competence and a disregard for the customer's time and money.
