We originally found Ashfield Place Farm on the internet and through some research we then found it on Group Retreats at a better value for money cost, compared to other sites. We booked this house through group retreats as a surprise for our friends hen do. 24 of us stayed at the home for the weekend and had an unforgettable time. Group retreats were so helpful and forthcoming prior to the booking, ensuring that we were all set and providing a courtesy call prior to our stay. The information given was clear and they were extremely helpful. The home itself was BEAUTIFUL. We spent the day by the pool soaking up the sunshine. The rooms accommodated for all of us and more. We were welcomed by a food hamper left in the kitchen for us. The kitchen was well kitted out, the only problem we found was the one conventional oven was not big enough for the amount we were trying to cook. It was exceptionally clean and tidy and although the building was slightly old in places it was full of traditional touches and history. The gardens went on for miles. We wish we had stayed for a whole week!
