A deceptively large cottage, simply decorated. Beds are very very comfortable and the house was warm & cosy when we stayed in December. The cottage is part of an estate so it is quiet and there is a private driveway. As part of the stables the horses are literally next door. The garden isn't secure if you take dogs but the long driveway provides a morning stroll. Abs the caretaker was great. A real asset to the experience. Stables Cottage is a 10 minute drive from Salisbury and in the perfect location for exploring this beautiful part of the world.
