My flight GF65 on 28 Feb. from BOM heading to London via stopover in Bahrain. The app allowed me to do online check in at 4:30 pm and issued me boarding passes. The Flight status continued to show “on time” even after the departure time! 3 hr running around at the airport, only to find out eventually that due to airspace closure the flights was cancelled. no clear information, no rebooking options, and rude ground staff. Unacceptable service.
There has been next to no communication from Gulf Air yet even after 48 hrs. I was given 2 numbers to call by the ground staff. The local Number went straight into a voicemail saying office was closed due to holiday. The other number was of Bahrain. International call charges, wasted time with no response from either of the numbers. No communication yet re. rebookings or our options. Pathetic services.
