I bought the version 2.0 product in September 2025.
I have had just had the third band snap on me. So that is 50% failure of the product in the first 8 months of use.
Whilst the "lifetime guarantee" is offered on replacement bands, the faff that you have to go through to get a band replaced is quite frankly not worth the bother to me after a third failure.
Firstly you have to take a picture of the damaged band, then you have to provide "evidence" of the exercise you were doing - and ensure it was an approved Gymproluxe exercise.
Then you have to pay postage online via bank transfer, provide proof of that payment. Only then will the band be shipped to you.
At £3.70 for P+P per band, the cost is not that great, however the "lifetime guarantee" starts to smack of a ploy to keep customers on the hook for more money after the initial sale after multiple band failures. I think the term "ensh*tification" may apply here.
Overall, the product is good in terms of it's usability and convenience, however the quality and design of the actual hardware have now got me looking for a more reliable alternative.
