I ordered the Gymproluxe Tropical Sauna Pod online for about £265 and was really looking forward to using it for home recovery and relaxation. The product is advertised as a pop‑up home sauna with 15 heat levels and lots of health benefits, so I expected a complete sauna setup to arrive. My parcel arrived after several delivery delays, but when it finally turned up the box was completely empty – no sauna pod, no steamer, no accessories, nothing at all inside. The UPS label showed a 5kg shipping weight, which matches what a full sauna pod should weigh, yet the driver even commented that the box felt “very light” when handing it over. This strongly suggested that something went wrong before it reached me, and I was left with just packaging and no product. I contacted the company and also opened a case with PayPal, providing photos of the empty box, the shipping label and tracking information as evidence. In the end, PayPal refunded the full £265, but the whole experience was stressful, time‑consuming and extremely disappointing, especially as the sauna pod itself seems to review well elsewhere when people actually receive it. I’m sharing this to warn others to be very careful: document everything (photos, videos on opening, label and weight) and consider paying in a way that gives you strong buyer protection if you decide to order from this company.
