Clean Flat Returned, Yet Hit with £400 Invoice

I rented a flat from Haart Chelmsford that required significant cleaning when I moved in. Haart did not show up on the check-out day but later sent me an invoice for over £400 for professional cleaning of a flat under 40m².This service was neither mentioned in the rental agreement nor agreed upon by me. Haart simply issued the invoice and demanded payment.I have check-in and check-out photos provided by Haart, showing the apartment was returned in the same or better condition. The flat was fully furnished and remained under Haart’s control for six days before the check-out photos were taken. The contract also does not state any requirement for professional cleaning.
