During the sale of my late father’s estate, using an alternative estate agent, ‘haart Estate Agents’ saw fit to put a compliment slip through the door with a fictitious claim that someone was interested in purchasing my father’s house. After calling ‘haart’ they tried to cajole us into having their sales representative out, the fictitious buyer was clearly a rouse to backhandedly and dishonestly pinch our business from the estate agent that we were with. We declined the offer of their representative coming out and the fictitious buyer mysteriously vapourised.Less than 5 hours after agreeing the sale of the house, ‘haart Estate Agents’ once again appeared from under the stone they had been lurking under for the past few weeks and cold called us offering their congratulations on the house sale, brushing over my father’s death with fake condolences and then asking if they can be of assistance, presumably so that they can try and poach the conveyancing business. This company is parasitic, dishonestly trying to poach business from more reputable companies. Don’t touch with a bargepole.
