Disgusting experience with the so-called property manager. They took advantage of my landlord’s lack of knowledge and advised him to issue a notice to leave—simply because I didn’t want to sign yet another contract. I’ve already signed six! At this point, it should just roll into a periodic tenancy, which is completely legal and standard. Instead, they tried to charge the landlord for creating a new contract.Rather than addressing the actual issues in the flat, the property manager chose to threaten me with eviction—a move that would likely end up in court. Absolutely terrible and unprofessional behavior.
