My experience with Haart Guildford will be coming to an end as soon as my present tenants decide to move on. I have been with Haart Guildford branch for over two years to begin with as fully managed property let's but after sacking them for incompetence on the management side I remained with them for rent collection although I regret that decision too and will move on as soon as I'm able to.The management side was a disaster but as I've already posted a long Google review outlining my experiences I will just comment here on the rent collection side.It's costly as in 7% + VAT for Haart to basically collect rent and send it on and chase any late or missing rent. Sounds simple enough, I thought they couldn't irritate me with such basic function but sadly I was wrong.If rent is late they haven't once contacted me to reassure they know about it and are chasing. Every time their has been an issue I as owner have to chase Haart and most times they seem unaware that money hasn't been forwarded or there is a problem.9 days ago I had a new tenant moved into a property and I've still not received rent payed by tenant to myself. I have chased and been given false promises then the branch manager on day 8 emailed me to inform me it will be 3 to 5 days more. Absolute joke, they blamed the tenant for not placing an address with the payment but even though they sorted this after 2 days of tenant moving in they still haven't released monies to the landlord.Always poor communication from this office and passive aggressive almost rude responses if they bother to respond at all which 9 out of 10 times they just ignore.Can take days to get through on the phone and usually when you do they say they will pass it on and you never hear anything again.Last time a set of tenants moved out and I requested a small amount of deposit for cleaning issues, Haart tried to add on an additional £75 charge to the tenant for themselves. The tenant rang me and we sorted things out privately so they didn't have a charge from Haart which incidentally according to the tenants Haart told them that was the amount I was demanding.Quite frankly all I have received from Haart is shoddy poor service and high costs. They are terrible at communicating, rarely engage competent trades, zero checking and the stress of dealing with them is not worth ever considering using this office. You may complain but nothing seems to get better or change.
