I had two transplants with Hair Growth Clinic and both were disasters. • The first surgery was unsuccessful. The doctor did not perform the procedure — it was carried out entirely by two technicians. • During my second transplant, the doctor was only present at the very beginning, then disappeared and again left everything to technicians.I specifically chose this clinic because they claim to specialise in Afro-textured hair, but this could not be further from the truth. I’ve been left with cobblestoning (raised bumps/scarring – look it up) and bald patches across my hairline. The results are horrible and permanent. Cobblestoning is caused by improper graft seating due to improper surgical technique and incorrect sized grating tools used. They failed to tell me what this was when I saw then, if they did it would have highlighted their incompetence, so I've had to find this out on my own accord. Now I will need to find a skilled surgeon to correct the damage HGC has done. This clinic provides a substandard service, delivers unsatisfactory results, and operates in a way that feels highly deceptive. They are scammers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
