I've seen a lot of reviews on here basically saying negative things about the Manchester clinic and Dr Munir, but I'd like to add my experience and im pleased to say it was a positive one.I did extensive research before taking on a HT, I had realistic expectations and knew what I was getting myself into. I think a lot of people either don't research enough and expect miracles or have no idea what they signed up for.Dr Munir is a straight-talker (and boy can he talk!) but he is a professional and at no point did I feel like I was in danger or being mistreated. He was very open and honest about what was achievable, and a bit of banter as we talked helped relax my nerves.I feel sorry for the team of technicians who perform the extractions and implants - they do not get enough credit for their work and are abused on here continuously. I can't help but feel there is an undercurrent of racism going on here, because despite any language barriers they were absolutely lovely to me and listened when I felt pain and needed a top up of anesthetic.My procedure was complicated by my diagnosed hypertension, and I believe me I was bleeding like a mother fudger! They really went all out to make me feel safe however, gave me tablets to reduce the bleeding and patched me up at the end. One final thing - this is a cosmetic procedure. It is not the NHS. You MUST research everything yourself before committing. The team are there to perform your wishes as quickly and painlessly as they can, and just because Dr Munir is in charge it does not mean he does it all! If that were the case, they would only have one patient a day.I am very happy so far with my outcome and recommend Manchester!
