If this review prevents at least one person from enduring the utter disgrace that is the hair growth centre it will have been worth it! I had surgery on the 24/03/23 at the Romford clinic, I was dubious from the outset after arriving at the clinic as the conditions weren’t sanitary, the walls of the room in which the surgery took place were moulding and paint peeling as a result there were thick cobwebs/dust/grime around the ceiling/trunking and the floor had debris strewn Over it see ( When your sat in a room for almost 9 hours stringent the four walls you notice these things) I know what your thinking at this point why didn’t I leave? I should have left but foolishly I would have lost the entirety of monies paid for the transplant. During in the surgery despite multiple Injections (around 15 in total) I was still experiencing excruciating pain, in the end I opted to stop having the numbing injections as they sting horrendously and weren’t actually having any effect which was very strange indeed as I have a high pain threshold for context I have tattoos, piercings & have had other surgeries and injectables in my head, these alleged numbing injections were not administered by the surgeon but by young girls who qualifications and experience are unknown to me, at one point they even left to ask the surgeon what to do clearly out of their area of expertise! I bled excessively throughout the entire surgery which I didn’t think was the norm, after the surgery had finally finished I cannot lie I was pleased with how it looked at that point and looked forward to the new hair growing on the transplanted areas however after the shedding stage the hair never grew back on the crown area and is actually in a worse state than prior to surgery from all the trauma , the front grew back sparse and doll hair technique like as other reviews have mentioned, after the surgery there was literally no aftercare whatsoever until a WhatsApp review at 6 months where I aired my concerns and sent over images of the current progress I was assured by Dr Nayak that this was normal and it would carry on to grow back around the year mark and density would resume, naïvely I listened to him and over the coming months there was no improvement whatsoever and here is where it gets even better a year passes and I’m offered a year review over WhatsApp I send over images of my hair and my dissatisfaction at the results that hadn’t materialised thus far they book the review the doctor calls he was quite irate and grumpily said I saw your what’s-app and instantly was on the defensive, he was very rude and abrupt/dismissive & said if I come in he’ll show me through a magnifying glass that the crown has grown which I found quite amusing as that speaks volumes of the quality of the results if you need to view them via a magnifying glass, PART TWO….. anyhow during this call he was condescending & repeatedly proceeded to talk over me multiple times that I couldn’t get a word in edge ways I felt like I was having a debate with a petulant child to the extent that I terminated the call as he wasn't remorseful he was quite frankly pissed off that I had called him out on his shoddy workmanship as he knew the surgery wasn’t great and didn’t want admit liability or be out of pocket, upon terminating the call I sent over a very strong email stating the facts of the matter, he then reverted form denying wrongdoing & admitted liability and offered to correct it FREE of charge at this point I obviously wouldn’t let this man anywhere near my hair again after the utter state it had been left in and his attitude problem, I took it further to customer relations once again with a strong email requesting a refund I was denied and offered another FREE surgery from a top surgeon of theirs (supposedly) whom would correct all thinning areas which I also declined now this is being offered for FREE please see attached for your reference, I wouldn’t even let them do it for FREE thats how bad the whole shambles of a transplant was form start to finish! I have decided to go elsewhere at my own expense to rectify their because that just how terrible the hair growth centre is! The customer service is diabolical they real you in with sweet talk and friendliness very good sales tactics and after the surgery it’s like dealing with completely different people, Please don’t find yourself in my position I know it’s a minefield out there do your research thoroughly and avoid these cowboys at all costs my biggest mistake!
