Zero professionalism, lack of attention and very disappointing.

I want to keep this as brief as possible but it's important to read and understand my scenario. My initial consultation was on the 11th of August 2023 with a consultant in the London clinic. It went well and he was polite throughout (until they took my money and didn't want to know). My goal was to cover my crown area and I made it very clear I am only visiting this specific clinic as I only want my procedure done by Dr Nayak and his team. I also mentioned I am a thalassemia carrier as I thought this should be mentioned. They do have a medical questionnaire which I completed and signed however did not mention my thalassemia as being a carrier is not a illness. The consultant acknowledged this and we proceeded with paying a deposit of £1,850.00 (Total procedure cost being £2,350.00) On the 27th of October (Over 2 months after my initial consultation) I receive a call from my consultant stating my procedure may be cancelled due to my condition. Please note, the consultant called me to tell me this. After chasing and chasing, the consultant called me on the 31st of October to confirm my procedure will be cancelled. At this point I had spoken to an unprofessional individual on their WhatsApp service who had told me to send an email to their cancellation team. To cut a long story short, a few emails were sent back and fourth on the 5th and 6th of November stating the above and a VERY important note is that the consultant called ME to cancel the procedure therefore they KNEW about my condition. They took no blood tests and have no access to my medical records so the only way they would have known was by me telling the consultant. They are claiming I didn't disclose this and won't refund. I mean, it's pretty obvious they knew which is evident from the above and the fact that they called me to cancel. I know right... They have ignored this fact and disregarded the information provided so I have just written up my claim via the GOV website for my small claims court claim. I will keep updating this review to let everyone know how things have progressed.
