I had my transplant in the Manchester clinic 19.05.2023 with dr ditta.The room was filthy to start with, lovely clean reception but the surgery room was appalling. Dr ditta drew a hairline on my head, already the line was wonky , and I did mention this to him but he said it’s ok don’t worry. Upon surgery the pain injections were horrendous, two people injecting you from all angles, so painful you can’t even catch your breath, you also hear them laughing quietly like they somehow are enjoying it.Extracting the donor hairs was pretty painless , apart from a few areas when I had to tell them I could feel the drill going in, I lost an awful lot of blood during the 4 hour extraction, they also use big pads to rest your head on and soak up the blood but they only had a couple and the surgeon realised this yet made me lay face down in blood, it was pretty disgusting the lack of care. Small lunch break consisted of a stale sandwich, of which wasn’t the one I ordered, good job I have no allergies. Upon inserting the hairs was very uncomfortable, about three or four people were involved, all talking nonsense and didn’t even notice my body had gone into shock with the pain and amount of blood I had lost, I couldn’t stop my body shaking and trembling for over three hours during the last part of the procedure. On completion they showed me the results in a mirror, the hairline was completely different on both sides and I asked why, the colleague brought dr ditta back into the room which he wasn’t happy about, as I was standing up dr ditta proceeded to puncture a few more holes in my forehead without any pain relief or warning, and placed a few hairs from one side to the other, it still was not correct and despot all of my efforts I just got ignored and rushed out of the building. The following weeks until this day have been very anxious ones, I can see how different the hairline is on both sides, I have contacted the surgery on a few occasions expressing my concerns and they keep telling me to wait six months, even tho the evidence is already right in front of them even without any hair growth, they have now blocked me on WhatsApp, and their email address can no longer be found and messages just get bounced back, I payed a lot of money for this procedure and was assured this would be all ok and work, I had this done as I have suffered with major depression to past events that have also been associated with my hair loss , and this surgery meant the world to me, only now I have to face the real life prospect of my hair and hairline being completely ruined by these careless lack of caring individuals, I am totally devastated.All I can say is please please please be very careful who you choose to do this life changing surgery for you, and that doesn’t include the hair growth centre as they are extremely unprofessional and use trainees to do all of the work for them while they reap the high cost benefits. I urge to to refrain using this dreadful company . I shall be seeking legal advice in the very near future to see what I can do regards a refund for them botching my hair .I was asked back for a review on my crooked hairline in November 2023, which was with dr munir , they kept me waiting almost an hour past my appointment time , when munir arrived he didn’t even know who I was, and asked ok when am I booked in for!!! I mean come on munir learn some people skills, he then immediately noticed my botched up hairline and said that they would rectify this in march 2024, but and I mean but , how can I possibly go to get butchered again from this awful company , my hair 8 months on still hasn’t grown after the transplant back in may 2023, I sent them photos today and I get the usual bull crap …. You are losing your pre existing hair, I stopped losing my hair years ago and it’s stabilised ever since, but since this company has botched up my hair it looks a lot worse than before the procedure, so something just is not right here, I sent them photos of near enough bald patches and said ….ok if I am losing my pre existing hair then please show me on my photos the grafts that you planted? There isn’t any , it’s a sham and a complete lie they sell you. I can promise you this will go to a claims court, as well as the newspaper and what ever else I can do to stop this unprofessional fraudulent hair mill ripping poor people off and shattering their dreams. PLEASE PLEASE IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT HAVING THIS PROCEDURE AT THE HGC……. Please read the reviews of this disgusting awful place , save your money and go elsewhere .
