My experience was back in May 2020. I am now finally having a second hair transplant to fix the awful job Dr Rafiqs team performed on me. My result is thin, sparse and uneven. This means i need to be clever with towel drying and then use hairspray to cover the bald patches they left me with.Dr Rafiq himself is good at talking in the initial consultation, but was barely present for the actual day, and the entire procedure was rushed and sloppy. He continues to pressure you to make the deposit on the day, and gives you assurance of results with their 'Guarantee' however on the day you are made to sign a form that states you have not been promised or even suggested positive results..... I realise it's my mistake for trusting them after this. There is absolutely no after care, I have tried to contact them about my poor results, I was provided the after care number and told to whatsapp them photo's. They have ignored my attempts.When having consultations to get a corrective operation, I visited 4 top clinics in London / Southeast. 3 of the clinics laughed and said they were not surprised when I said it was Hairgrowth centre that did my operation, and one doctor even guessed without prompt. Luckily I still have a very thick donor area as they took so little from the back, (and refused to tell me how many grafts they would harvest and implant). To summarise the exact quote from my surgeon this time was "Hair growth centre gave you a cheap and sparse transplant", and luckily I can afford to have a replacement transplant. I really hope this review can save someone from the same mistake I made.
