After contacting Hair Growth Centre (HGC) I was invited to attend a assessment meeting. At the meeting, I told the person, I was planning to go Turkey and showed him the quotation received from Turkey. He told me if I sign up and pay today he will be able to apply a discount which expired yesterday. On that basis a price was agreed for 2 sessions and booked the first session.  I wanted to book the 2nd session but the person told me that I should wait 6 months and see how the result from first session of my transplant.I did informed the person that I will be travelling abroad after 10 days of the HT but he did not mention any restriction on travel. At the meeting, I also asked the person about PRP and I was told I will not require PRP as HGC's treatment is of very high quality.After booking the first session and paid for it, I received a email confirmation along with a video link providing information of pre and post operation. Having viewed the video I realized that I will not be able to expose the head directly under the sun or enter pool or swim in the sea. Based on that I called HGC and wanted to cancel the appointment. I was told I couldn’t cancel because the appointment is less then 10 days away and it will cost me £500 more for cancellation. As the person in the booking office not willing to cancel without incurring the cancellation fee, I then contacted the person who booked my session and questioned him why he did not advise me against the travel, when I mentioned him the date and country of my travel. He then cancelled my session and rebooked another date after my holiday without applying the cancellation fee.On the day of my transplant, I arrived at their Kenton centre. At the reception I was told to pay for the 2nd session or pay another £300 for the discount applied for having two sessions. I refused to pay and told the person I don’t know anything about discount applied and I was told to wait 6 months before I can book another session. Then another person came followed by the doctor, who I was booked with for the transplant and demanding me to pay for 2nd session or pay the £300 discount given for two sessions. After I refused to pay they said they need to contact some one higher up which they did and told me I can go ahead with the transplant without paying for the second session or discount applied.I was taken into a treatment room and was told to get ready. After about 15-20 minutes waiting, I was told to move into another small treatment room. Finally the doctor treating me came and said I definitely need PRP and will cost me additional £800 for two injection. I told the doctor what their member of staff told me at the time of booking that I will not require PRP, as HGC's treatment is of very high quality. Based on the doctor advice, I paid £800 before the treatment began. At the time of booking I was told about the process and was informed that prior to the transplant medical check including blood pressure will be carried out. However, there were no check carried out including no blood pressure check prior to the treatment began.During the insertion session one of the staff named Aditya said “he cant take it any more” and left the room. Another person came and took over after a while. After the transplant was completed when i came home, i noticed a deep cut on my head. Assuming it was inflicted by the person who left the room.Since the transplant, I have had no calls from the doctor or any other staff member to see how I was and the result of the transplant. Several of my friends who has done HT both in UK and abroad told me that post transplant their doctor did video call 2-3 times in the first week.About 8 months post transplant, i emailed the doctor along with few images of the deep cut on my head and asked if HGC is able to touch up on the cut area as it was caused ny one of their staff but never received any reply.It appears that HGC is only interested in taking your money and not interested at all on post treatment care and service.
