Update 29/6/22I have been informed some of the bald gaps is shock as these were thinner areas so will take longer to grow. At this stage I will wait 6 months. Il be creating an instagram if anyone is keen to follow the treatment and update here.Update 29/6/22One week on and the cracks in the service are showing, changed the rating 5 to 4. Il do regular updates and update rating accordingly.Reasons for reduction;1. Aftercare so far has been slow, and the staff involved communication has been difficult to follow. They do recommend using panthelon to help with itching but it’s only mail order from overseas, why not stock this? Had I had a proper consult ahead of time I could of prepared the products.2. After day 2 (the crown) I noticed there was still a couple bald areas between the crown and centre of my head. It mostly look filled bar a thin bald halo around the transplant but there was also a few bald spots a few mm longer than the ring. When I pointed these out the Dr said he used a razer beyond my hair and that there was hair there. A week of regrowth and there is no hair there and it’s still bald, the other spots you can see regrowth. In 6-12m maybe it all grows over it but Il have to do another review then but right now it looks like it could be a weird bald spot in the middle.3. The extraction if the donor area isn’t symmetrical, left side is higher than right, which is odd as the right I had psoriasis with less hair to work with. Both days I had left over hairs so I don’t know why they did not use them to fill in the bald gaps mentioned above. At this stage I think Il likely need one more to touch up these bits missed out, gna wait 6-12m and see but now I’m waiting for answers. My advise is have a detailed consult, agree shape and design. And I highly recommend agreeing donor area before they start and to consult you if they need more, also, after extractions, before lunch, is when the Dr does his creation of channels, I also recommend reviewing the channels to get an idea where the hair will be placed. I could of spotted these bald areas and asked to fill those in if possible. Finally once the hair is in, if they have left overs, ask for a review to see how it looks, if more channels needed I’d rather call the doctor back to do a round 2 of incisions whilst I’m there before they finish up and bandage you. These simple changes would of made this perfect.Surgery on 20/6/22 and 21/06/22Had my first surgery today, I live in Australia so it was a lot to coordinate but the team made it work and was able to get me in at short notice.I had my surgery with Dr.Shuaib Mir and all the technicians were;Shehnaz, Supraja, Thurya, Camille. Zain helped coordinate the produce whilst I was in Australia and also travelling Europe, so I was able to have the treatment right away this was still very difficult to coordinate, I didn’t have any interaction with the doctor and everything was rushed last minute. We got there in the end, had I almost had multiple consults already in Australia I probably would Of waited but I had somewhat of an idea what to expect. The day starts with the doctor reviewing the hair and designing the look, it is the blocked off into area of low, medium, and high density requirements which will match up to hairs after they are removed.Once happy it all begins, first half day is removing hairs, this is done by a technician using a small drill, like a dentist tool, sounds scary but it was fine, you don’t feel a thing. Hairs are extracted and grouped depending on size thickness.Once extracted the dr will review the roots, choose blades to match the roots so you end up with multiple instruments used matching to density areas. The dr does all the incisions, called channels, where the hair is later placed. Once done you take a break eat etc, then the final step the technicians place the hairs according to size and channel size etc.End result looks good, hard to see until it’s grown but judging from the implants it looks as dense as my thickest part of my head. All medication steps etc provided.Hopefully this give detail around what to expect and I recommend people not hesitating.Il do a post review 6+ months down the line.Good luck
