Misleading sales pitch - results not great

Have waited 18 months before writing this review and wanted to share my experience with all those on the journey so they can make an informed decision.I went for an offer they were doing on unlimited grafts. I had an initial consultation with zain who stated i have a good donor area and they could extract up to 4000+ grafts and would cover my crown and receding front sides. I had stressed i wanted to have the consultation and procedure by DR Zakir and this was accommodated. I had some issues with my scalp and DR Zakir had prescribed me some medication and we agreed to defer the transplant until it had cleared. 8 months later we were ready. On the day of the surgery, DR Zakir Rafiq was too busy and i was passed to a more junior DR for the consultation who then informed me that i would have to choose between either the crown or the front and it would not be advisable to do both together as for maximum impact the total grafts should be used in one area only and that i should think about a 2nd procedure for the other area. I had agreed to focus on the crown. The surgery was performed, the team seemed very friendly (albeit a lot of people coming in and out of the room and frequent rotation of staff performing graft extract and insertion) and helpful and looked after me. DR Zakir Rafiq came in a few times to check on me and also performed the incisions in my scalp for the grafts to be placed. I asked a few times how many grafts they were looking to extract and they said i will have to speak to the DR. The transplant was performed and took most of the day, i was given good post care treatment advise by the team and had a post op review meeting with DR Zakir Rafiq. I had to press him on how many graft i had to which he had stated 2800. 18 months in, the results are not great, whilst there is growth on my crown it is patchy and there are a lot of small patches on my donor area. Overall post operation 18 months i continue to shave my head and i feel i did not benefit at all from the surgery and have been left with lots of small patches in the donor area (which is probably worse then before). I feel that the sales process from Zain was completely misleading. Whilst the DRs advice may have been sound, this was after they had taken payment on a promise of 4000 grafts for full coverage. Having a hair transplant is no small matter and HGC should be more responsible in their sales process to provide clear and accurate representation so customers can make informed decisions rather that tell you what you want to hear to get a booking and payment. End of the day you get what you pay for. The team seem nice and friendly but it is very much a stack it high sell cheap outfit. My advice, better of spending a little more for better results, if you want to achieve pleasing atheistic hair transplant look somewhere else.
