🚨 SCAM ALERT: Hair Growth Clinic in Birmingham 🚨 Avoid this clinic at all costs. My experience has shown it's a bait-and-switch operation. 🗓️ Timeline of My Experience I visited for a consultation on 19th September 2025. I was greeted by a man named Muhammad and his manager, who seemed overly eager to finalize my payment. I paid a £1000 deposit the following day, believing the surgery would be local. However, I later learned that the surgery was scheduled at a different location in London on 21st September at 8AM. Upon arrival, I paid an additional £800 and was quickly taken to a cold room. They took my blood pressure, claimed it was high, and cancelled the surgery within minutes. They didn't show me the monitor or allow me to retest, even offering me tablets, which I declined. I’ve never had blood pressure issues, and it felt like an excuse to cancel after receiving my full payment. After returning to Birmingham, I checked my blood pressure multiple times, all normal. I provided proof and continued monitoring, yet they ignored all my follow-ups. ❗ What Followed Was Even Worse: On 24th September 2025, I researched the clinic and found numerous reviews indicating it was a scam, similar to my experience. Frustrated, I returned to their office to request a refund. Muhammad instructed me to email their main office and even suggested what to write to improve my chances. I complied and emailed them the same day. Four days later, I received a response from someone named Amit, stating: "We cannot issue a refund at this time. If you obtain medical evidence of being permanently unfit for the procedure, a partial refund may be possible." They demanded a doctor's letter proving I was unfit for a hair transplant, despite their clinic's claim of my "high blood pressure," which I disproved. On 1st October 2025, I went back again to speak to the manager. After explaining everything again, he promised to call me the next day. On 2nd October, he reiterated their refusal: No refund without a doctor's letter. I found this unacceptable and returned to their office, insisting on my refund. They called the police on me. When the police arrived, I calmly explained everything, showing them online reviews from others who faced similar issues. The police were understanding and advised me to report the business to the relevant authorities, which I will definitely do. ⚠️ Final Caution: This company cannot be trusted.
