🚨 SCAM WARNING: Birmingham Hair Growth Centre – 8 George Road, Birmingham 🚨 Do NOT trust this clini

🚨 SCAM WARNING: Birmingham Hair Growth Centre – 8 George Road, Birmingham 🚨

Do NOT trust this clinic. This is a bait-and-switch scam, and I’m speaking from personal experience.

🗓️ Timeline of What Happened to Me

I went in for a consultation on 19th September 2025 at Birmingham Hair Growth Centre. I was met by a man named Muhammad (also known as Salman Sheikh) and his manager Rajesh Patel. They seemed overly eager to take my money and get me booked in fast. I was told the surgery would be performed locally, so I paid a £1000 deposit the next day.

Then I was informed my surgery would actually be done in Kenton, London, at a clinic called My Hair Transplant, on Sunday 21st September at 8AM.

I drove there, arrived early, paid the remaining £800, and was rushed into a freezing cold room. They took a quick blood pressure reading, claimed it was high, and then immediately cancelled the surgery within 5 minutes. They didn’t show me the monitor, wouldn’t let me calm down and retest, and even offered me tablets on the spot — which I refused. I’ve never had blood pressure issues, and the whole thing felt like an excuse to cancel after getting my full payment.

I drove all the way back to Birmingham and had my blood pressure checked three times that day at a local pharmacy — all normal. I sent proof and even continued to monitor my BP for the next three days, sending photos of readings as requested. They ignored everything.

❗ What Happened Next Makes This Worse:

On 24th September 2025, I started researching the clinic and found dozens of reviews claiming this was a scam — just like what happened to me. Angry and disappointed, I went back to their George Road office and demanded a refund.

Muhammad told me to email their "head office" and even gave me suggestions on what to write to improve my chances of getting a refund. I followed his advice and emailed them the same day.

Four days later, I received this reply from someone named Amit Jaiswal:

> “We are unable to provide a refund at this stage. If you obtain medical evidence that you are permanently unable to undergo FUE or related procedures, a partial refund may be available.”

They are now demanding a doctor’s letter saying I’m medically unfit for a hair transplant, otherwise no refund. This is despite the fact that their own clinic claimed I had "high blood pressure" — which I proved was false.

On 1st October 2025, I went back to the George Road office again and asked to speak to the manager. Muhammad called someone who arrived 10 minutes later and said it was his day off. I explained everything again, showed him the emails, and he promised to call me the next day.

He called on 2nd October and repeated the same nonsense: No refund without a doctor’s letter. I told him that’s unacceptable and went straight back to their office — this time, refusing to leave without my money.

They called the police on me.

When the police arrived, I calmly explained the full situation and even showed them online reviews from others who experienced the same scam. The police were sympathetic and advised me to report the business to Trading Standards and Action Fraud UK, which I will absolutely be doing.

⚠️ Final Warning:

This company is not trustworthy. They are:

Misleading customers about surgery locations

Cancelling last-minute with fake medical excuses

Taking full payments before performing any treatment

Refusing refunds without jumping through impossible hoops

And they are doing this to many people, not just me.

If you’re considering using Birmingham Hair Growth Centre or My Hair Transplant in Kenton, don’t. You risk losing your money, your time, and your peace of mind.

✅ Reporting Them (What I’m Doing):

I’ll be reporting this business to:

Trading Standards (via Citizens Advice)

Action Fraud UK

Possibly the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

And the General Medical Council (GMC) if any of their staff claim to be doctors

Hardworking people should not be taken advantage of like this. If you’ve been scammed too, I encourage you to speak up and report them.
