My 9 month old Irish Setter is the fussiest dog I've ever owned. She was started on raw food from a puppy but since I have had her she had been intermittent with when she will eat it. Sometimes she would go 2 days without eating anything although clearly hungry. I tried a variety of raw food providers but the result was always the same. I was recommended Happy Dog by the owner of one of my dogs siblings. I ordered a trail pack and she licked the bowl clean every day. I've since ordered a variety of flavours and she consistently eats her food now and is putting on weight. It's a big weight off my mind as I know how key the early stages are for their growth. I can't say I've experienced any issues with ordering or delivery as other customers have stated. The delivery always arrives after a few days with delivery updates sent regularly. Thanks Happy Dog for providing food my fussy girl enjoys!
My puppy is now 5mths old and has only ever eaten happy dog food.The breeder encouraged me to continue to feed him this as he only feeds his dogs this.My puppy is happy it doesn’t upset his digestive system,he’s growing his coat is shining all the time.Hes strong and doesn’t over eat.I always try to feed him what’s recommended and it’s obvious that he’s having all the nutrients and calories that he requires.Come summer as it’s a dry food I won’t be bothered with flies.
My irish setter Elliott ( 19months)had severe gastric issues requiring daily medication .I had been feeding a raw diet to him plus my other dogs but it clearly didn’t agree with him. I tried numerous other brands which either fixed the diarrhoea temporarily or he simply wouldn’t eat it.The small sample packs enabled me to try the Happy dog products both wet and dry at a reasonable cost. Not only did the sensible range fix his gastric issues he actually enjoys it and looks forward to his meals.Having been using it now for a few months on subscription I can now stop his medication as he has no issues which is great for both of us.The company offer a fast reliable service and subscription orders can be delayed or delivered quicker than the normal chosen timeframe if required.Excellent company excellent products.
My dog has had digestive issues since I had her. Tried all sorts of different foods, expensive down to cheaper ones. She is fussy and goes off things quickly as well. Following chronic diarroeahh I put her on a hypoallergenic diet for a few weeks, then followed the vet advice to try a novel protein. Happy Dog Kangaroo wet has been a godsend! She loves it and licks the bowl clean Her tummy has settled down and poos are fantastic. She also likes the ostrich dry kibble which I use as treats. We are now trying the ostrich wet and horse wet for some variety.Delivery has been really prompt, no problems. We are not changing food again for a long while :) Although a bit more expensive it has been worth it. I was throwing away food constantly but not any longer. I can't recommend it highly enough for dogs with sensitive tummys.
I had my dog try the renal diet and unfortunately didn't take to it. I referred to customer service who kindly arranged the return as their guarantee suggested. In the exchange of emails I was told if I hadn't heard anything by a certain day then to let them know as they don't always get to know when a return has been put back into stock and they would investigate and refund as appropriate. After not hearing I did indeed notify customer service who has told me to wait as they are waiting to hear from their returns team. A further couple of days have gone by and I've emailed again but unfortunately haven't had a reply. This has left a bit of a taste in my mouth as the exemplary service at the start is now souring and I'm doubtful I will receive my money back. Such a shame as their foods my other dogs looked really appealing. Short term gain ends up long term loss. Hopefully not.
Started off ok. I needed to change my dog from raw food. Happy Dog came out with top marks. He was seemed to enjoy for a bit. Then I noticed he was getting very bad constipation with this food. It isn’t widely available, it’s very expensive when you can get better quality cheaper. Plus they also add delivery. Further, they have very few varieties and no option to mix and match.
