I should start by saying that the midwife that ran our class was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, very kind, happy to answer any questions, she was brilliant.The online portal is also good.The issue we had was with the company and how it sets up the classes. We had 16 couples in our class which was way too many.You didn’t actually get chance to know anyone because you never spent any time with the same couple. There weren’t enough materials provided for this number either - in a group exercise of three couples, we only had one worksheet for various exercises which could’ve been okay but, because of the group size, we had no time to actually share the worksheet.The final issue was the “celebration” where it turns out they hadn’t actually booked somewhere for us, they had just announced a location for us to turn up at and sort out.If the class size was halved, the classes could’ve been great, I just wish HPHB had prioritised the parent’s experience over money.
