We joined the Walthamstow July HPHB course as first time parents hoping for a bit of help in what you can describe as a bit of an overwhelming time! The classes were fantastic - we felt really equipped at the end of the course with a lot more knowledge than we had when we went in! I particularly liked the practical exercises which meant you practiced things like first aid, swaddling etc. The best part about the class is meeting new people and you get time during each class to get to know all the other parents to be- we've started our own WhatsApp chat after and are already planning some meet ups.
