From the start, my email was barely read, my accessibility needs were dismissed, and I had to insist my request even reach "Robert," the senior pet detective. His response was a curt, transactional email: he would only conduct a four-hour search, quoting £620 including travel despite being locally based and despite their social media actively advertising 30% off feline services, which he ignored when I referenced it.The message was clear: he wasn’t interested in helping us, just in quoting a fee he knew we couldn’t manage. It felt cold, dismissive, and profit-driven. Speaking later to the person who originally recommended him, even they admitted his attitude toward grieving pet owners was poor.In a time of heartbreak, the last thing missing-pet owners need is someone who makes you feel like an inconvenience. I would not recommend putting your trust or your hard-earned money into his hands. Our family is still living the nightmare of our missing girl, and his lack of kindness only made that pain worse.He may advertise compassion, but in my experience, he does not practice it.
